You’ve stumbled onto the homepage for 'The Presbytery', in Newtown, Sydney, Australia.

Sumu, Sri, James, Caroline and Dan rent the top floor of this cool building from the church next door. But, please, don’t get the wrong idea – we are far from being ‘good catholics’. ;->

Here at the presbytery we are blessed with an amazing space: a huge living room, high ceilings, a massive balcony covered in plants, our own carpark etc... We are also lucky enough to live right next to wonderful King St, and have an amazing collection of inspiring friends. So our lives are pretty full.

Between the 5 of us we are: artists, musicians, designers, students, lawyers, tech designers, political activists, wanna be pirates, and by turns – snappy dressers, and then total dags.

From time to time we do events here – such as mini film festivals in winter, blazing cocktail parties once or twice a year, whakky little art or performance events, this place has been used as a ‘staging post’ for Reclaim the streets, we have dinner parties occasionally etc…

The purpose of this site is to document some of the whacky stuff we do here.
