Yep - this one was another kicker! While it was cold and rainy outside - inside was warm and decadent. First off a big sit down candle-lit dinner for about 20 close friends, then as people started to turn up for the 'party' part of the evening - the bottles were produced - a goodly arrange of spirits (thanks to the 'reliables') - and things really started to get underway. Not too many people this time - you could actually get from one end of the house to the other - so the 'less randoms' thing worked (Although one or two faces were notably missing - Lynda? Pauline? Brendan? ;-> ). Georgina flew up from Melbourne for the evening, Seb and Suze had put together an awesome mix compile as 'dinner music', we kept it reasonably quiet till about 11:30 so the nieghbourhood could go to sleep - and then - well, things got pretty wild. Lui and Gina, the basslines crew from FBi played a slamming Ragga/Dancehall set, later on Dan and Sumu took it to RnB/Electropop/Mashup extremes and scenes of decadance and iniquity played themselves out in the bedrooms as the booze flowed. At six in the morning a small posse left to go and drop Georgina at the airport to fly back down to Melbourne - hilarious. Ah, a good night.
