DIRTY SLUT
LIVE SHOW TECH SPEC
AUDIO
Dirty Slut audio is delivered on stage as a completely mixed stereo signal on two +4dB line level ¼’ jack outputs.
Requirements:
- P.A. must be AT LEAST 2-way active with enough power to comfortably deliver undistorted sound to a capacity audience with ample sub-bass.
- 1 hour sound check time with sound system, video system and fold back fully operational and the assistance of an experienced sound operator who will be there for both sound check as well as the show itself and who is fully familiar with the sound system. Sound Check is to take place NOT LESS THAN ONE HOUR BEFORE DOORS OPEN.
- Two high quality active DI boxes to be provided on stage.
- One Foldback Wedge with 31-band graphic in-line to be provided center stage for Dirty slut and good visual communications with a Foldback operator in order to adjust FB level at show start.
VIDEO
Video is a major component of the Dirty Slut show so details of each show must be worked out in detail between a representative of the production crew for the venue/event and Georgina Frye of the D.S crew.
Requirements:
- At least one Video Screen, minimum dimensions 3m x 4m meters hanging behind Dirty Slut’s position on stage.
- 1 MX-50 Video Mixer.
- 1 x VHS Deck.
- A mix-position large enough for two people to operate in comfortably, off stage and with a clear view of the stage and the Video screen.
LIGHTING
Lighting must be discussed with Georgina Frye, (contact details at end of this document) before the show. Generally we like LOTS of Red, as well as strobing white, and strong colours.
Basic requirements:
- 1 Par 64 for Interrogation booth
- Red Flashes/Strobing for entrance.
- Total Blackout after entrance (on audio cue 1)
STAGING
The Dirty Slut show involves a number of ‘Dirty Girl’ dancers who will move from the stage and into the crowd as well as bringing selected members of the crowd onto stage. The Dirty Slut act begins with Dirty Slut walking from the rear of the venue, through the audience, onto stage, accompanied by ‘Walk-in-music’ and surrounded by the Dirty Girls.
Requirements:
- 1 small (1m x 1m) table of normal desk height for Dirty Slut’s Sampler. Typical pub tables are usually suitable.
- At least 2 meters of clear space in all directions surrounding Dirty Slut’s table. This clear space will be used for staged ‘dance’ routines so must be clear of any cabling or looms. The cabling necessary to run Dirty Slut’s gear must be securely gaffed to the stage and behind run to the rear of the table.
- Access (stairs or similar) from the stage into the audience.
- An area to one side of the stage where the ‘interrogation booth’ can be set up. This is 2m x 2m structure is to be backlit to allow the audience to see the silhouettes of people inside.
- 1 small (1m x 1m) square table and two chairs for the interrogation booth.
- Security in the vicinity of the stage must be made aware of the ‘interactive’ nature of the show and permit punters to come on stage if prompted by the dirty girls. The Dirty Girls are in charge of on stage security.
- Dressing room(s) sufficiently large for 6 people changing outfits, storing cases etc.... must be secure.
- 3 Bottles of Yellow Glen Champagne and a dozen Champagne glasses, A dozen 375ml bottles of water.
- One Dozen Long Stemmed Red Roses
