The Mohave Desert in California, almost Arizona. Amazing place. Not too far from a small town called 'Needles' where my Dad grew up.
Another one of my Mum's crazy outdoor adventures. Four days canoeing down the Waikato river in New Zealand. Three canoes, One with me and Mum, one with the Browns, friends of the family, and one with the guide and his little brother. No sign of Human existance for three days - just totally primeval rainforest and this incrediable river george. Oh, and RAPIDS!!!!
