Florida and then Weekend in Nashville with Charlynn

Then - down to Orlando and back along the coast for a while up through Florida. Loooooong distances...

Oh yeah - and Pelicans!		Stumbled across a really cute little town St Augustine,which had this amazing 300 year old spanish fort; 'Castillo de San Marcos' guarding the mouth of the inlet.

And then it's back on the road - man the endless, endless roads...		We reckon this guy would get LOTS of calls...

So, the following weekend, Charlie came up from Memphis to see me in Nashville. We stayed in this amazing hotel - Union Station.		Beautiful building...

I HEART WAFFLE HOUSE!!! Dodgy, simple, down-home, diner food. and EVERYTHING comes covered in cheese... The girl's pretty cute too eh... :)		Yumm...

So then, we booked tickets on the General Jackson showboat! A huge Paddle steamer thing with the inside set out like a huge ballroom, with tables etc... We boarded in the late afternoon, and were soon gliding up and down the river. Then as night fell, we sat, ('Captains table' right up the front) were served a four course meal, drank and watched the show - with frequent pauses to slip outside and just luxuriate in the calmness of dusk on the river. Just, er, wow!
