Paris... did I mention I love this city?

In response to a gushy SMS I sent Dad Fento about shopping in Paris, I got this back:

I quote the hit of 1918: - 'How ya gonna keep em down on the farm, no that they've seen Paree?'
My Grandfather loved it on 1918, yours in 1940, me in 1968...'

Yep. Feels good.

Talk about civic art, check out this subway
(sorry - metro) station

A patchy day of cloud and occasional sunshine.
In a beautiful little church, glanced up, raised the
camera and... snap. Stop to adjust the exposure,
raise the camera again, and - the light has gone.
a moment. A precious little moment.

After the DADA exhibition, stop for a coffee
on the pompadour cafe, on the roof
of this amazing building.
Beautiful 70's proto-industrial ultra-modern setting
with a view over the rooves of this amzing city
and, yes - fresh roses on every table.
And yes - the coffee was excellent

The top of the Pompidou. Shades of that
wonderful Kate Bush Video.

The rooftops of Paris - check the bottom of this
page for even more of a panorama.

Shannon says Fromage! Er, that's cheese...

Light and shade. The Building Shannon
is staying in.

A Moonlit street...

A somewhat grainy (but nonetheless
spunky) Shannon.

Oh yeah - there was that always that sticky-uppy
tower thing in the background.

Yes - wierdly beautiful.

Can you tell I'm having a good time?
